The Founders
NeurocentRx Pharma Ltd.™ was founded in 2008 by 14 academics with renowned scientific and clinical teams from the University of Edinburgh, with Dr Ron Lindsay (Regeneron, Millennium) as Chairman, Dr Howard Marriage (Genzyme, Cyclacel) as CEO, and with key pharma / biotech business veteran advisors.
NeurocentRx™ aims to be an innovative company that will harness the translational insight of the University’s leading researchers to enhance the development of neuroscience medicines in the key areas of cognition, psychiatry and pain. Leading scientific insight is provided by the internationally renowned academic teams of Professors Jonathan Seckl, David Porteous, Douglas Blackwood, Sue Fleetwood-Walker and Malcolm Walkinshaw.
The NeurocentRx starting structure provides opportunities for multiple possible academic and partnering interactions and involvements in an open architecture model that seeks to match the best early projects with enthusiasm to the best available and experienced care.
