He is an experienced business development and sales professional specialising in leading business through change and facilitating SME business capability and growth.
Equity Gap was set up by management consultant and former Scottish rugby international Jock Millican. The syndicate typically provides between £20,000 and £500,000 to young, high-growth companies. Recent investments include funding for Insignia Technologies, Synaptec, Appointedd, Shotscope and Vert Rotors.
From 15 original founders in 2010, Equity Gap Ltd has grown to more than 100 members who have completed more than 50 rounds of funding. Co-investing alongside other syndicates and the Scottish Investment Bank – the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise – the business has leveraged a total of almost £20 million to date.
Fraser has been a director at Equity Gap since 2011, he has more than 25 years’ worth of experience in the Scottish investment and business growth sector.
Prior to joining Equity Gap, Fraser held senior business development and project management roles at Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, Scottish Chamber of Commerce, Clydesdale Bank and Bank of Scotland.
