Graeme has spent his whole 27-year career in drug development in various roles and companies.
In his current role as Head of Clinical development at Neurocentrx his main responsibilities are to oversee all aspects of clinical operations, developing routes to market for products, CRO (Contract Research Organisation) selection/oversight, contract negotiation and supporting business development activities.
Prior to Neurocentrx, he spent 20-plus years in the CRO area, predominantly within project management. During the COVID-19 pandemic he was extensively involved in running trials, most noticeably leading a large programme (ACCORD) on behalf of the UK government.
Prior to the pandemic, he had oversight responsibilities for a team of project managers delivering key projects for clients. Within the CRO area he also held the position of Director of UK Operations leading a team of CRAs as well as overseeing all clinical operations conducted in the UK and Ireland.
Graeme lives just outside Edinburgh (Musselburgh) and in his spare time he enjoys watching/coaching his three sons take part in their sporting activities (rugby, football and hockey) as well as walking his two dogs in the beautiful Scottish countryside.
